This card is not the best choice as a defensive creature, except in the early stages of the game. Heavenly Gazer has a floop ability that can be useful for finding good cards to play in future turns. They can be fairly useful for building a Blue Plains deck early in the game to get some quest stars.

Heavenly Gazer is relatively weak, which is why it is a common card used to used to craft an Evil Eye or Hot Eyebat instead.
